Celebrating The Wedding of Claire & Lee at The White Hart, Lydgate, Oldham
The day started off to a noisy reception – Claire had 10, yes TEN bridesmaids, of all ages…brilliant. Some were getting ready at her home, some were standing by to be suitably ‘delivered’. But, amongst all the chaos that is a wedding morning, the ever-lovely Rachael Bottomley was quietly and calmly on hair and makeup duties, and it was good to see here again.
Claire & Lee’s Wedding Day was all about one thing – fun! And, boy was there a lot of it to come…
I love photographing weddings at The White Hart – one of my favourite ever weddings was Katie & Andrew’s a year or so ago. It’s a very relaxed, unassuming but classy wedding venue, brilliantly run with awesome food….well worth shortlisting.
As we arrived from church, Claire & Lee dived straight into a field opposite for a few laughs and a few Bride & Groom portraits. I say portraits – I only had to point the camera at them, they were having so much fun…
As we finished our fifteen minute session, it was back to the venue, where the Beato Burritos were in full flow. Incredibly talented, funny and game for a laugh, these guys were just brilliant fun…who’d have thought – real Mexicans just outside Oldham… 😉
After a first Daddy Daughter Dance, we were in to the full-on official first dance and party. After a few songs from my old mate DJ Peter Lockwood, it was time for me to hand over the reigns and head for home.
If you’re thinking of The White Hart as your wedding venue, why not get in touch to see more of my work?
