Stirk House Wedding Photographer
I am a Stirk House Wedding Photographer, and officially proud to be one of their recommended wedding suppliers. I have photographed a few weddings at Stirk House, with one couple flying in from Brunei to be married, whilst my other clients were more ‘local’.
Stirk House is a stunning wedding venue up in Gisburn, just north of Clitheroe. Their website describes the venue as:
“With ivy clad walls standing for nearly 400 years and a crackling fireplace welcoming guests since 1933, Stirk House offers contemporary luxury in truly historic surroundings. Family owned and run, we are passionate about supporting the local community, protecting our stunning surroundings and exceeding customer expectations with little added touches of luxury…”
Weddings at Stirk House
With my natural style of documentary wedding photography, I tell the story of your day as a Stirk House Wedding Photographer. From preparations to the first dance and beyond, my wedding collections are focused on the happiness and joy of the day, and the people featured. I was a Stirk House Wedding Photographer for Lauren & Gary recently, so you can see what I mean HERE
Stirk House has a charm all of it’s own. It looks quite small from the front, but it a Wedding Tardis! Once inside, the venue opens up with several rooms, lounge areas plus the stunning ceremony and reception rooms. The function Room alone can hold up to 250 guests!
Award-winning Wedding Venue
Stirk House is also award-winning. The venue has won numerous awards over the years, and recently the Great Northern Wedding Awards ‘Best Wedding Venue: Hotel’ I won Best Male Wedding Photographer in 2015, 2017&18 too! I love working as a Stirk House Wedding Photographer – the day is run like clockwork, but so relaxed nobody notices (not even me!) The Legendary Dave is front of house and his unique style brings him fans from all around the wedding Industry. Danielle and the team also do a sterling job of keeping us all on track. I’ve never heard any complaints from any guests about a Stirk House Wedding.
