Ellie & Dean were married recently at St Anne’s church in Sale, with a reception at Luther King House in Manchester. So, here is an example of my Luther King House Wedding Photography.
The church ceremony was unique – a live band playing songs, not hymns, with a great atmosphere; reminiscent of Keira Knightly’s wedding in ‘Love Actually’.
It was such a refreshing change to witness this ‘gig’, with so many happy people raising the roof. Both Ellie and Dean are keen Ultimate Frisbee players too, so a timely wedding gift of a customised frisbee was used for the short formal session.
The first dance was unique too – a full-on Ceilidh, complete with lessons for all…nobody was safe from ‘swinging their pants…’
Here are some of my favourites from the day, shot mostly with a Nikon D3s and 24-70mm lens.
